All Cycling PEI memberships are now available for purchase on our website at cyclingpei.org/membership. And this year, we have some exciting changes to announce! New Cycling for All Membership tier We have introduced a fourth membership type, which we are calling the “Cycling for All Membership”. This new, super affordable membership (just $14.99 for those under 18 or over 65, or $19.99 for everyone in between) is designed for the casual recreational and commuter cyclist who might like to participate in a small number of recreational events at a reduced rate, and enjoy other member benefits such as discounts at participating businesses and access to optional cycling accident insurance*. The particular benefits of each membership type are outlined in detail on our revamped Membership page, so have a look and choose the membership that’s right for you! New reduced Seniors & Youth rates This year, those aged 65+ now pay the same reduced rate as youth on all non-UCI memberships! We’ve also aligned all non-UCI memberships so that anyone under the age of 18 pays the youth rate (instead of 17 as in past years). The adult rate for UCI memberships still starts at age 17 in conformity with Cycling Canada and the UCI. All memberships now sold via CCN Whereas just UCI licenses were being sold via CCN last year and all other memberships via Zone4, this year ALL memberships will be sold via the CCN Bikes platform.
If you are new to CCN, you will be asked to create an account. You may add different members of your family to your account if you register together, and CCN will remember your profile and family members whenever you return. Club and Team affiliations New this year, you will notice the option to indicate an affiliation with different CPEI-sanctioned clubs and teams right when you purchase your membership. Learn more about affiliated Clubs & Teams, including how you can start your own at cyclingpei.org/clubsteams. *Optional Sport Accident Insurance add-ons include the Training Accident insurance ($20-30) which extends coverage to anytime you’re on a bike for training or recreational purposes, or 24-hour Bike Accident Insurance ($100-$110) for coverage anytime you’re on a bike (see below our Membership page for more information).
