Cycling PEI Announces Preliminary 2023 Race Schedule!

We are pleased to announce our preliminary 2023 Race Schedule! We look forward to delivering a fun set of road and MTB races this year, starting with the return of the Indian River Road Race on May 13th (registration open now!).

Why “preliminary”? - We are calling this the “preliminary” race schedule only because additional, member-organized races may be added to it in the near future as well. If you are a CPEI member with a cycling event idea (race, time trial, or ride), please let us know at info@cyclingpei.org so we can discuss how CPEI help make your event a reality!

Maritime Race Coordination - This year, Cycling PEI and the provincial cycling organizations for Nova Scotia and New Brunswick have committed to better coordinating our race schedules to foster more opportunities for interprovincial participation. Thus, you’ll see that our 2023 race schedule includes two races from each province - one Road and one MTB - that we are jointly promoting as Maritime cycling events. For PEI, the two main interprovincial events will be Red Mud Mountain Mayhem on July 9th, and the Canoe Cove Road Race and Time Trial on August 6th.

Rigid Riders Registration Open Now!

Registration for our flagship all-ages mountain bike skills club, which meets every Tuesday evening between June 6th and August 29th, is currently open.

RIGID RIDERS REGISTRATION

DON’T DELAY - the number of participants we can accept will be based on the number of Volunteer Leaders that agree to participate. We have opened registration to 250 with the assumption that we will have sufficient Leaders to facilitate a safe and effective program. Due to this, we must reserve the right to reduce this number after registration is complete. This will be done based on when registrations are received as in first come, first served. Any registrations that we are not able to honor due to reduction in overall capacity will receive a full refund.
