Winter isn’t the off-season. It’s fat biking season!

Fat biking is one of the fastest-growing cycling activities in PEI, and Cycling PEI is helping pave - or at least groom - the way!

In 2025, Cycling PEI is conducting winter grooming operations on the following multi-use trails:

• Cardigan River Trails (located at 4380 Chapel Rd, Cardigan, next to the ball field and behind the liquor store)

• Acadian Forest Trails and Wright’s Creek (Charlottetown, at the end of Acadian Drive)

• Glasgow Hills (98 Glasgow Hills Dr, New Glasgow - fat bikes are available for rent here, see details)

• Brookvale Demo Woodlot (RTE 13 #2151, Brookvale)

• Rotary Friendship Park (65 Roy Boates Ave, Summerside)
